Who We Are

Mother Magnolia is a private residential landscape design and construction firm operating in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We are excited about expanding our operation to Santa Barbara county. This expansion marks a homecoming for Mother Magnolia founder Tom Scoble who, along with his wife, grew up in Santa Barbara.

The philosophy that guides Mother Magnolia is that people deserve to come home to outdoor spaces that reflect who they are, and the way they live. From hardscape to water features, pools to outdoor structures, barbeques to full outdoor kitchens, our designers have the requisite experience and vision to maximize the potential of your outdoor space.

Mother Magnolia is fully bonded and insured, and we possess C-27 (landscape), C-53 (pool), and B (general contracting) licenses (Lic. #787663). We are a proud member of the California Landscape Contractors’ Association, and the Better Business Bureau.
