Magazines and books are wonderful sources of ideas for your new garden. Cut out images and articles from magazines and keep them in your design idea file.

Books

There are many wonderful books on landscapes, plants and outdoor spaces. We highly recommend the classic Western Garden Book published by Sunset as a basic reference book on plants. Mother Magnolia has an Amazon wishlist with some titles that you may want to buy, or borrow from your local library.
